We're Live: ConsensusIreland.com

Updated: 1 day ago

We are proud to announce the official launch of ConsensusIreland.ie — a platform and movement designed to return power to where it belongs: with the people of Ireland.

For too long, Irish citizens have voted once every few years, then watched from the sidelines as decisions were made without their input. Consensus Ireland changes that. We are a new political party built on a simple yet revolutionary idea: you should have a say in every policy that shapes your life.

What Makes Us Different?

At Consensus Ireland, we believe politics doesn’t need to be about parties, personalities, or promises. It should be about policies — and people.

Our elected representatives don’t make decisions based on personal views or party whips. They are legally and ethically bound to vote in the Dáil according to the majority view of their constituents, as decided through our secure online voting platform.

We are inspired by the ancient principles of direct democracy but powered by modern technology. With monthly votes, transparent engagement, and citizen-driven petitions, we are rethinking how Ireland does politics.

What You Can Do on the Website

  • Sign up to vote on policies directly affecting your community

  • Start or support a policy petition that matters to you

  • Read through policy discussions, community feedback, and expert summaries

  • Apply to stand as a Consensus Ireland candidate in your constituency

  • Volunteer your skills to help grow the movement

This is not just another party. This is a democratic platform where you help shape the laws that govern Ireland.

Why Now?

Ireland is ready for a new kind of leadership — one that listens more and promises less. As we face pressing issues like housing, healthcare, climate, and education, we believe the best solutions come from people-powered decisions, not backroom deals or party manifestos.

With Consensus Ireland, every Irish citizen can be part of the decision-making process, every month, not just every five years.

Join the Movement

Explore the platform. Share it with your community. Ask questions. Cast votes. Get involved.

This is your Ireland. Let’s shape it together.
